Oh, Bella Faccia, home of the biggest slices in Stumptown. Your vegan slices may ring in at $3.25, but I could hardly complain. I wasn’t hip to your tempeh goodness the first time I tried you, but now I’m in adoration. Your slices are thin and crispy, just like the native New Yorker in me demands. You don’t even bother with fake cheez – you keep it real with a red pepper and cashew sauce, fresh & colorful bell peppers, greens and the lightly flavored tempeh. I don’t miss the tomato at all!
If I want it, you provide both hot sauce and a shaker of nutritional yeast. Plus, the place is cute, there’s an outdoor patio, bottles of crush, fine beers on tap, and a daily 4-6 happy hour. Variety would be nice, but isn’t that what Hot Lips is for? If only I lived closer..

it SUCKS living between Hot Lips and Bella Facia, truly it does. do i walk 2 blocks for vegan slices or do i walk 4 blocks? which one am i in the mood for? it’s really no fun having options for they are so overrated.
I’m so impressed that they have tempeh on the pizza.
