Proper Eats is the best vegan eatery in Portland. The Cornmeal Tempeh Plate is my favorite. All of their ingredients are so fresh and retain their individuality even when mixed together such as in the Pesto and Veggie Wrap. I also like the fact that the music is good and not too loud, the place has a homey feel, and the people are friendly and truly care about what they do.

I love this place, just wish it was closer. I always stop by when I trek out there to the skatepark.
